This cemetery is located in NW 1/4 of Sec. 24, T8N, R24E. One acre has been reserved for a cemetery and church. Turn west in Panama on the Buck Creek Rd. Go about one and a half miles, turn south onto private property. Go through a gate and follow the dirt road about 1/2 mile. Cemetery is on the south side of the road, near the strip pits and the Old Midland Valley Railroad. Cemetery is fenced and maintained and contains about 25 or so graves. Most are unmarked.

Rev. John Johnico donated the land for the cemetery and the Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church, which was located about 100 yards east of the cemetery. This land was part of his Indian Allotment. Rev. Johnico founded this church about 1900 and it was in existence until his death in 1935. He was the pastor through these years. The large bell is now at the First Baptist Church in Panama.
